countdown and other noteworthies

well, here we find ourselves again on another Wednesday. This Wednesday in particular is somewhat noteworthy. Why? Well many, many reasons my friend, but for our purposes today, we will mention just a few.

1. The official countdown has begun.

yep, 2 weeks from today is my birthday. Now, those of you who don't know me very well are thinking, "wow, starting already?!" and those of you who DO know me very well are thinking, "Wow, she waited until the last 2 weeks!". Birthdays are a big deal, that's what i believe and that's why i drag them out as loooooooong as possible.

2. A wonderful combination has occurred,

thus righting all the wrongs in the world for a day. :)

My wonderful friend Heather is a blooming photographer and has decided on, arguably, the best people to showcase for her VERY FIRST PHOTOSHOOT EVER. This is very exciting for me not only because i get to see Heather's wonderful talent combined with pictures of St. Elmo's cutest kids, but...Heather has promised that when i get my new camera (which, fingers crossed will coincide with item #1 on the list) that she'll share with me all of her magnificent photo-fabulous skills and together we will rule the world. (ahem)

3. Evidence of a glorious occurrence.

About a month ago, my dear, dear friend Kate (otherwise known as Kathy) got married to her beau in New Hampshire. I was, very unfortunately, unable to attend the wedding but she has FINALLY posted a picture on her blog of the blessed day.
