Bet you didn't know...
So, before Trev and I got married we broke up for about a week. At which point we decided to remain friends. However, during this time his family arranged for him to meet this girl that was a family friend in Florida. So they met and within a couple days they were getting married! As you can guess, I was devastated. However since we were “friends” Trev wanted me to be part of the wedding. Sort of my own “Best Friend’s Wedding” moment. Along those lines I agreed, thinking I could convince him not to marry her.
It was so weird, Trevor even asked Chaz and Rex to be in the wedding, but none of her family. It was just, awful. Anyway so the day they were supposed to get married I finally got Trevor alone and tried to convince him not to marry her. She was real quiet and boring and they just didn’t seem like they would be happy (plus I wanted him to marry me!). He got really annoyed with me and said he couldn’t talk about this now. Chaz came up and told me to drop it and that I’d already had my chance. (some brother huh?) So I of course ended up in the bathroom sobbing and Trev goes to take a nap before the wedding. I was hoping that he would think about what I said and change his mind but on the other hand he could have gotten mad at me and that would only make him stubborn and not call it off.
By the time I pulled myself together the guys had already left for the wedding so I got ready and headed out. So there I was standing beside Missy (Trev’s sister) waiting for her to walk down the aisle. I just knew that if Trevor went through with it I was going to lose it and would probably run out of the church crying and ruin their wedding. However I had to stay in case he saw me and then changed his mind. It was awful, just awful.
So I said ‘to hell with this’ and woke myself up. Trev usually gets up early in the morning to work out before work so he wasn’t there to make me feel better. I told Zoe about how awful my dream was and then went into the bathroom to get ready. All of the sudden I hear Trev! He had come home before work to make me coffee (and his workout finished early). I was so excited I ran and told him about my horrible dream and made him promise to never marry anyone else.
Pretty dramatic morning huh?

Trevor's parents got us tickets to a wonderful New Years Gala where Trev's dad played his trumpet with the symphony. It was an awesome party, we had so much fun. It was us, Trev's parents, his brother Jon and his wife Adrian and Adrian's twin sister Kate and her date Casen.

and with our newest little niece Autumn
Trev, me and his dad got some fresh air on one of the nature trails. we got some quality time in with the mangroves...mmmm, mmm mangroves.

however we encountered some monsters on our trail...watch out Trev it's going to get you!

Over Thanksgiving Sammy really liked my bird necklace so for Christmas i got her one too!
such a cutie pie!
we all went out on the boat which is an excellent January activity. Look where we stopped for lunch (mom, Becky and Kaley should get this). We had a great time. Mmmm good.
Last but not least, here's me and Trev.
We had a great time with all our family. We are sooo blessed to have families that we enjoy spending time with. It always flies by. As soon as Trevor finishes that transporter we will get to see them all the time!

2009, so glad you're mine
Happy New Year everyone. We got back from our world tour (felt like it) last night. I think we put at least 2,600 miles on the car. Good old Mya, she can handle it.
We had a wonderful time in VA with my immediate and extended family for Christmas, then headed down to Florida to spend time with Trev's family over New years.
I have grand aspirations to post some pics from the trip sometime soon but for now just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone.
I spent a couple minutes this morning reading everyone's blog and catching up on all the family and festitivites that everyone has been partaking in. It has left me with a warm fuzzy feeling (and no, it's not from the new Christmas sweater i'm wearing). I'm just impressed with how blessed we are to have such wonderful friends and family. God has been good this year, no, i take that back, he's been amazing. Such blessings and love and warmth he has poured out on us. So anyway now that's in 2009 i'm still looking back a little bit at the wonderful blessings in my life. You know who you are and i'm thankful for you. I"m also thankful that you have so much love in your lives. God is good, all the time and all the time, God is good.
