Skills Rye has acquired:
-high fives
-waving
-sign language for "all done" and "more"---although he only does them when HE wants to (please no comments on who he gets that from ;)
-saying "mama" and "dada" again, only when he's in the mood
-head bonk, which his Mimi taught him
-sitting up from laying down
-scooting around the room
-he LOVES watching Diego, he gets super excited when he hears the theme song and it really holds his attention
-he's best buds with Zoe and developing a relationship with Mia
-he has an affinity for anything that's not a kids toy, including but not limited to: cell phones, computers (top favs), cords, kitchen utensils, etc
- he's not too sure about "big people" food, unless of course Mom or Dad is eating it but refuses to feed himself. (it's the king in him)
-also refuses to use a sippy cup, or any cup for that matter, we can occasionally get him to drink out of a "big person" glass but again, only when the fancy strikes him
-still loves to snuggle and read books, his favorites are the ones that you can touch and I Can Fly, which was my favorite growing up too
-thankfully still taking 2 naps a day and sleeping about 11 hours at night (sleep, oh sleep, how i have missed thee!)
i'm sure there's more i'm forgetting but that's a good overview of our 10 month old little Rye Pie.

Isn't it amazing how in 10 short months Rye has learned to do all of these things. God has a wonderful plan for Rye and you are helping prepare him for it.
Good job Briana and Trevor.
awww man, i love you Aunt Ginnie!
I love you too Aunt Ginnie
Liked the update, he sounds as fickle as the pickle that gave birth to him, makes me like him even more:)
I love all the pictures of your Rye Pie :) And he is doing amazing things. Oliver isn't clapping or signing yet. Oliver loves cords, cell phones and computers as well. We have already replaced the cord to our laptop because it doesn't work anymore. Happy 10 months, Rye!
