Christmas Christmas

This has been an excellent Christmas Season for me. As most of you know, I love Christmas and love celebrating it for as long as possible. This year I have had more opportunities then ever before to do "Christmasy things."

Here's a look back on an excellent Christmas season (yes i know it's not over yet).

September 30th--Amy Grant releases yet another Christmas CD, thus officially launching the holiday season

October--listening to Christmas music at work, in my car and at home when Trev's not around (i know my limits ;)

Early November-- Begin Christmas shopping

Mid November--begin decorating 10 trees for work

Late November--listened to Christmas music for 4 hours straight while driving to Florida for Thanksgiving (Trevor was asleep)

December 2nd-- had Christmas outing with Trev, Heidi and Kyle. This included peppermint hot chocolate at Starbucks and picking out our Christmas trees!

December 3rd--we had a branch open and Santa came! SANTA!

December 6th--Trevor's work Christmas party and the Inhabit Christmas party --both tons of fun (ok, so not so much the work one, but the second party was awesome!) we even did cheesy Christmas pictures (oh, that explains the library/pasture picture)

December 7th--Decorated Christmas tree and house

December 8th - 13th-- made about 44 trips to Hobby Lobby working on decorations for our work Christmas party, spent all week doing Christmas decor related work only.

December 13th-- Work Christmas party

December 14th-- Christmas cookie gathering at Heidi and Kyle's with Bethany, Timmy, Heather and Trev and me

December 15th--Amy Grant and Vince Gill Christmas concert in ATL with Emily! it was awesome as expected. Good songs, good stories, and lots of reminders of the reason for the season (next year Heather!!)

December 18th-- Finished Christmas shopping! wahoo, now the wrapping begins

------------

December 19th-21st--Some non-committed Christmasy time, most likely to be spent making Christmas cookies, wrapping Christmas presents and other various Christmas related occurrences

December 23rd--Head to Virginia for Christmas

December 24th--Christmas Eve! This is the day we have mom's Christmas eve feast and open stockings

December 25th--Christmas!

December 27th--Christmas with all the Harts at Grammy and Grandaddys (first Christmas with Ellen!)

December 28th--Back to Chattanooga

December 30th-- Head to Florida for more Christmas fun!

December 31st--New Years Eve/Taylor Christmas

January 1st--New Years Day

January 4th--Back to Chattanooga

Even though i won't be home for Christmas, i'm sure it will be a Christmas to remember.
