today

today consisted of the power going off mid alarm. finding candles, getting dressed in the dark. hoping what i had on matched. walking to work in the rain. getting the cuffs of my pants wet. finding out my office had been moved around--apparently the painters had great aspirations but nothing to show for it. had a nice cup of tea. reminded me of Kate. got some free banana bread...not as good as mom's or Heidi's. walked through the rain to the gym. worked out...marginal but good for me. walked back in the rain. wet cuffs again. did some good hard work. walked back to my car in the rain. stopped at Bi-Lo. made some delectable french onion soup. mmmm it was tasty. Trev helped clean up, that was nice. now i'm sitting here watching this bizarre film about Bob Dylan where his name changes and the actor playing him changes and it skips all around. a lot. i have no idea what's going on but i like it. i like it alot. i'll probably recommend it but hope people don't ask me what it's about. because i have no idea.

it was pretty good...for a Monday.
