Aliya: Week 4

Well, we've made it to week 4. Aliya is doing great. Great, great, great. (Now that the growth-spurt-h-e-double-hockey-stick that was week 3 is over.) She's sleeping between 2.5-4 hours at night. She has been eating between 1.5-3.5 during the day. She likes to cluster eat a bit in the morning and the evening, but this enables better naptime (Rye and mine) and nighttime sleep so we are going with it.

She is a crazy fast eater. I'm talking between 5 and 15 minutes...total. Gulp, gulp, done! But the Dr says that as long as she gets a good 5 minutes she's ok. Makes those nightime feedings easier.

She's pretty easy going but has quite the set of lungs when she needs to tell us something. She loves to be on her stomach. We think she likes to be swaddled although she also has Rye's propensity for escaping even the tightest wrap. Our little Houdini. :)

Ok, enough of the details, bring on the cuteness!

She has inherited her Taylor Gramma's ears. Apparently it is female trait. Missy has them and her dautghters, Sammy and Autumn, but none of the boys. Crazy. We are exploring their elvish heritage and will report back. ;)
