scene: Rex, followed by Trevor, take off down a steep and narrow patch of trees, beside the ski lift. Kaley follows, a bit closely, and thus collides with Trevor.

Kaley's ski patrol experience:

thankfully, no breaks, but she did have (insert technical medical terms that sound official regarding weak ligaments, bruises and cuts). So she got a cool brace to wear. and....lots of hanging out on the couch time.
