Punkin Patch

On Saturday we gathered the Poseys, Smiths (minus Rich unfortunately) and headed out to the Mayfield Farm Pumpkin Patch for some fall fun. The kids did great and everyone had a great time (a miracle!). Here are some pics from our fun at the farm:

They had this giant bin of corn for the kids to play in. Rye LOVED it! He probably would have stayed in there all day if he could have. We did constantly have to keep him from trying to eat it though.

One of the causalities of playing in corn...
Maddy kept "cleaning" the corn off the sides...
notice anything...uncomfortable...about this picture? heheheheeee

this is the "you are putting a cramp on my fun" face he made when we told him not to eat the corn...

We spent $7 each (for the grownups) and got a hay ride out to the pumkin patch where we got to pick any pumpkin we wanted (see below). Then we got to watch a pig race, play in the corn bins and do the hay jump (basically a trampoline surrounded by and covered with hay).

Believe it or not, this was not staged....

Our little fall baby...

There was also a petting zoo and various other entertaining activities. We had a great time and it was well worth the drive (45 minutesish) and the cost. We are already planning our trip next year.

Makes me miss fall even more than I already do. Hope you'll have some great fall colors and smells when we get there for the big boy's b'day! Love the "finally giving in" picture.

See you soon...like the new art!
